Does using XboxFriends keep you online in the Dashboard?

Just out of curiousity... You know, if I were to just leave XboxFriends on and if I have friends online, would they see me as being online on the Dashboard? I know it does when I go to the Xbox website, so I was just wondering if this is kinda the same idea. Thanks.

It won't show you online but it will say you were online probably 1 minute ago.  I had to tell a few people about the program because they thought they were always just missing me.  But no you won't show up on their friends list.

Well, to be clear, the issue isn't necessarily with XboxFriends but rather a side effect of Xbox.com.  Ever since Xbox.com added the messaging features, just visiting your friends list (and message list) "connects" you to Xbox Live momentarily (at least this seems to be the behavior).  There's two states that I've seen because of this.  One is that it will show that you were online 1+ minutes ago and the other is that it will not show any current presence information for anyone who is visiting the Xbox.com website.  Not sure if they would consider this a bug or not.
