Task bar and system tray icons

Is there a way, or is there going to be a way, in which I can remove the task bar icon of XBF and only have it in the system tray?  I had this with some other friends list programs and really like it.  It makes it much cleaner when I run it all day long.

P.S.  Will there be a way to assign my own audible notification sound?

Just click the X in the top right of the XBF window and it should minimize to the tray

And as of yet, it is not possible to switch the notification sound. (correct me if I'm wrong DB)

I know about that, but clicking the X will close the XBF window.  I should of explained better.  Messenger and some other friends lists allows the window to be open without there being a taskbar icon, only a system tray icon.  Something I like, but not a deal breaker.

I think this would be a nice option also.  I don't really need it in the task bar because I always end up hitting the tray icon to try to bring it up.  So maybe an option for both?

Up to this point I've sort of been following the behavior that other applications do that are similar in functionality.  Windows Live Messenger, MSN Messenger, XFire, Steam, Outlook 2003 to name but a few.

If there's enough interest in modifying this feature (probably as a settable option), I'd be happy to look into doing so... so as usual, here's your chance to speak up.

As for custom audible notification sound, I've already added that to my TODO list.

Well, I would like the option to have it just be gone in the taskbar.  But if that isn't possible at least follow the way programs like Messenger work where if you click on the icon in the tray it will pop the window up.  When it is in the taskbar it ignores that function so I normally have to hit the icon a couple of times and then notice that it is in the taskbar and then hit it there.

    Did that make sense?
