What is my email and pasword because when i try to log in it just freezes at the log in Screen.

Now i tried it today and an "exception information" bar came up all it lets me do is look at stuff that makes no sence and push ok. after i dopush ok it waits like 30 seconds and comes back up

I've also got the same problem. It just freezes on the sign in screen. I'm running XP Pro with SP2.

The status bar displays the following: :--*-*_

The program then starts eating 50+ mg of memory and using 100% processor. The only way to close the program is to ctl+alt+del and end the process.

This looks like a fantastic program and I hope to be able to get it working.

Yes, in order for XBF to retrieve your friends list information from Xbox.com (and continue to do so), you need to provide the application with the same sign in credentials as the Xbox.com website.

For the paranoid, this information is not transmitted to any external website and is stored in an encrypted format on your personal hard-drive for future use with XBF Desktop.

i  have a prob with the login when i login on xbox.com its no problem... but with xboxfriends its take many time and i dont get a login...

why anyone knows ?

At this point, if you don't type in the correct username / password for the Xbox.com website, XBF should be showing you a message similar to the following:

"The e-mail address or password is incorrect.  Please retype the e-mail address and password, or sign up if you haven't already done so.  Need help signing in?"

This message is not coming from XBF, but rather the Xbox.com/Passport/Window Live site.

I'm not sure what could be different, are you by chance using a non-english OS?  Whther or not, something is different and the key is to find what that is.  You aren't the only one reporting such wierdness, so I don't want you to think that we think your crazy. ;-)

Any further information would be great.

I do everything I can test it on different machines in vastly different configurations; Windows Home, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional and Windows Vista Beta 2.

Two of these machines has Windows OneCare installed (enhanced firewall, anti-spyware, virus protection).

All of these machines use IE 6.x (except for Windows Vista, which is IE 7.x beta) as their browsers.

If you have a different configuration than these, please let me know.

So if you have something different than what I've described, whether it be browser(s), personal firewall software, proxies, net-nanny, etc. please let me know so I can try to reproduce and correct (or at least handle accordingly) such issues.

Linksys Router only port 113 / no personal firewall

and now its the same 5 hours ago nothing ;(

if i use the mailaddy and the passwort for xbox.com so i dont have any trouble ;(

now i have test the tool on my wife her PC and whats going on it runs ;(( so i think its a software problem... but my wife has the same XP Pro ect. pp same router so i dont know ...

any other ideas ?
